DIY CONCRETE PLANT STAND / SIDE TABLE

What does one do when there is a bit of concrete left from a DIY project ? grab a broom handle and make a side table or a plant stand of course!
this diy is one of the accidental ones that actually worked so if you have a bit of concrete at hand you got to try making it !

DIY CONCRETE PLANT STAND / SIDE TABLE

Materials
concrete
bucket / cake reliese or anything that you want your “table” top to be molded into
round pieces of wood - i used cheap room handles
gloves
some hind of protector i used tarp
saw - i used hand saw
(scissors are here just randomly )
optional
paint and brush - to paint on a pattern etc

How to:
1 mix your concrete quite thickly

2 decide how long you want your legs to be and cut the wood

3 - place the legs in concrete mix - making sure that there is same lenght of leg sticking out and leave it in a shady spot to set for 24 h

4 as bucket was already damaged due to other diys i done at same day ( will show them later) i decided to break the bucket to get my table out

5 Sand any rough edges or the whole lot if you fancy a smooth finish

And you are done ! i would leave the table to properly set for few days before you start using it tho - the setting time will also depend on the thickness of the actual concrete that made the table top
